The worst thing that has happened to America - that is, the culmination of all bad things that have happened in America: Bush as President.
He should have been impeached the day his gang of thieves stole the 2000 election from the ballot box.
All the good will engendered toward America after its past WWII rebuilding efforts, and its generosity, and its magnificent projects (space exploration and others) has been squandered by the past four administrations, until America is now an enemy to a large portion of the earth's population.
Yet we continue to foist our notions of what a good society is, on the rest of the world - either against their wishes or by taking advantage of their ignorance and greed.
What a monumental irony, that Bush insists we will shove our democracy down the collective throat of the Mideast, while shredding that very deomocracy here in the fatherland, the good ole US of A!
Am I angry? Why isn't everyone angry, that the glorious dream of the American republic is now a death rattle? And we're determined to take everyone else with us. Not to mention the billions of other creatures that share our planet with us.
